How did I get here?

Ugh!  How did I get here?!  That is what I have asked myself over and over again as I start this weight loss thing for the second time.  Then I remember....you ate like crap and didn't exercise! Duh!  It is my fault and only I can take ownership for where I am today....and for that matter where I will be 2 months from now on this journey.
I have realized something.
At times, I. Am. My. Own. Worst. Enemy.
I am the one who puts food into my mouth.  I am the one who either makes time to exercise or doesn't.  I am on summer break for goodness sakes, a luxury many people out there who are busting theirs to get weight off don't have.
The pictures below are pictures from last week to this week.  I have worked out, some, not hardcore like I should be, but I have been eating pretty good.  Although there is not a huge difference I honestly think I see a small amount of improvement....I know I do with my clothes off, but I will shield your eyes from that...you're welcome.  My stomach is getting flatter and honestly, I think that is only attributed to making better eating choices.

P.S.  I am NOT weighing myself right now...I know the weight I have started at...BUT, the scale and me can be a vicious cycle of diminishing my self-worth....so for now, I am going to go with how I feel and my clothes fit.

This, this little beauty here is a picture of me in my (short-term) goal jeans.  These fit me last spring!  I think I dried them...maybe?!  Wishful thinking?!  Anyways, I want to be in these comfortably before school starts in August.  I know that doesn't seem like much, but here is my thought process:  10 pds. and they will button but still be tight, 20 pds. and they will fit comfortably....20 pounds by August is a big goal, I know, but I CAN do it.

Until next time.....
