Social Sunday

1. What was your favorite trip/vacation/activity this summer?
To be fair, I have to include two.   T, my husband, and I took a vacation to Destin, Florida.

Then, my mom and I went to Disney World.  We always take a mother/daughter trip and are super close.

2. What was your favorite outfit look/clothing item of the summer?

3. What is one thing you wish you'd gotten to do this summer?
Make a baby.  After suffering from a miscarriage this summer, you can read about it here.
I can't help but think about where I would be in my pregnancy, etc. right now if all had gone as planned.

4. What was your favorite song of the summer?

5. What was your favorite movie/tv show of the summer?

Despicable Me 2 was HILARIOUS!

and this one stopped at the beginning of summer, but I still love it.

  2. I'm so NOT a vacationer ... the family went to Seattle and I elected to stay home, a staycation instead of endless hours on the road. I read about your miscarriage, so hard. My first baby I didn't worry at ALL, but I had a miscarriage a couple years after he was born. All my remaining pregnancies were clouded with that little bit of worry (but that was my only miscarriage, I had four more healthy babies). I just started watching Suits after I found it was available on Amazon Prime. I'm liking it a lot. Nashville is on my list to watch when it hits Netflix/Amazon or DVD ...

  4. Both of those trips sound lovely! Destin is beautiful - I love the white sand and clear blue water. Disney World sounds so fun - I cannot wait to go someday, I've never been!

And I'm so sorry for your loss. Will say a prayer for you today.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. =)

  7. You and your mom are so cute with those pictures!!
Regarding miscarriage - I completely understand. I had one the beginning of this year. And the beginning of last year. One day girl. I keep saying that to myself as well!
And I love all songs from Mumford and Sons.

  17. I can not wait to see despicable me 2!! Loved the first one! I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage... I too had one 6 months before we became pregnant with our daughter. It was so hard and I can totally relate to how you're feeling when you say you can't help but wonder where you would be in your pregnancy.... I hope you both can be blessed with a healthy pregnancy sooner than later :) xo
