Anyways....
Is Tuesday too late for weekend happenings? My blog, my rules? K.
This weekend is my towns big festival...I know we all have them some are weird names. Ours is the Spoon Bread Festival...and yes, you can get all the Spoon Bread your heart desires there. On Friday we always have Balloon Glow to kick of the festivities. Here is one from that to give you an idea of what it is like. Pictures could never really do it justice as there are even more balloons scattered out through a lawn area, but you get the idea.
Then, on Saturday I was supposed to do two sessions of pictures, but it was pouring the rain, so I did one (the couples session). Here are few of them. As you can tell I am trying to play with levels, exposure, saturation, etc....it is all so much to learn and getting everything juuuusssstttt right can be hard at times. I look at these and already see things I want to change before the final edits are done and ready to give to the couple. Any advice from all of you photography people out there on editing tips, tricks, or resources?
These are SO CUTE! If you want like good, cheap editing that you can do online, you can pay for Pic Monkey $4.99 a month. It has all sorts of settings. You can do things like whiten teeth or smooth out tan lines, but if you want to just do some basic, fun background settings, then check it out. You can change to black and white, sepia, and other things. It does help crop and rotate. If you get too jiggy with some of the editing, the pictures don't look real, but if you stick to one or two changes, it's not bad.
ReplyDeletestill fantastic photos dear. love them.

Photos look great! what did you end up using for your editing program?
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow umbrella! I've actually found a lot on Pinterest. So much that I set my board to private so that I wouldn't flood everyone's feed haha.
ReplyDeleteSuch adorable photos! I love them! And don't feel bad about life getting in the way... I just had the same thing last weekend and I realized blogging just comes second a lot of the time, and that's just life. :)
